We will be going up to 3000 feet upon the volcano Mount Vesuvio to climb its crater. You will have 2/3 hours to explore this magnificent volcano. Despite its violent history of eruptions, Mount Vesuvius still offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area, which is a national park. Mt. Vesuvius’ eruption in AD79 buried the cities of both Pompeii and Ercolano beneath ashes, mud, and lava. This is a wonderful trip up the stratovolcano, allowing tourists to absorb the natural scenery and history. during your stay on the Vesuvius, you can also include lunch in a restaurant to taste the Neapolitan pizza overlooking the Bay of Naples.
End of the tour back to Naples Central Train Station to take your train back to Rome.

Our Driver will lead you at the entrance of the Vesuvio and he is going to wait for you there to bring you back to Naples at the end of the visit. Our English/Spanish speaking knowledgeable driver will explain a commentary of the volcano so you can have a good introduction before you go inside the site. You will have enough time to explore the Vesuvio and also stop in a restaurant with a view of the Bay of Naples for a delicious Neapolitan pizza Mt.
